I've managed to change the code so that the tabs indicate the topic title first. I hope that is what you wanted.

Re: Minor glitches

Doc, thanks, that's a very useful trick that I hadn't known about and will make it much easier to direct people to past posts. Now then, here's another thing. I'm using Firefox 9.0.1 on Ubuntu Linux and find that tabs are titled differently compared with the old OG site. On this new site, every OG ...

The server threw an error up halfway though the mailing saying to many recipients, it;s the hosting companies limitation not mine, problem is I don't know who received them and who didn't.

Re: TERRACED HOUSES

Years ago I was fitting a few Velux windows to new build houses in Harlow - Essex, I asked the local Roofer that was on site if he was going to fit Coping Stones to the new roofs, he looked at me strange and said "What's a Coping Stone" I told him large slabs on the edge of the roof to kee...

Re: Mass eMail to the old Sites Membership

Has anyone received the email I sent out, I'm getting hundreds of Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender I'm just checking that I sent it correctly in the first place and that the Returns aren't my fault. If I did then it looks like a lot of the old members have either moved or changed th...

My last piglets found it difficult to master the basics, but eventually through a lot of practising and a few close calls, one or two managed to do a quick circuit of the Barnoldswick Air Space.

Private Message Notification

At the moment, when you receive a private message from another member, the only notification you get a number in your (2 new messages) box.

I will see if I can implement another way to notify the members like we had on the old site, remember the little pop-up box, something like that.

Mass eMail to the old Sites Membership

Today I am attempting to recover all the old members Names & eMail addresses from the database so that I can send them all a mass eMail detailing the new site and that they have to re-register. It will be the first time that this or the old site has sent out a mass membership eMail. Some of this...

I ask because it would be very useful and I notice that the Search function can find specific posts containing keywords, not just threads. And while you're ...
