None of the Kosher Nostra look good these days. Zubhin Meta the Indian born conductor was an honorary member and he is said to look bad. He was born on 1936.

Watched episode one of Perfect Pub Walks with Bill Bailey, on Channel 4 catch-up. He was accompanied by Alan Davies and I found it an interesting watch, definitely going to watch the rest of the series.

We watched episode one of Passenger last night 1/6, there was so much happening that it kept the attention, hoping it makes more sense tonight, it’s a bit bizarre, but not giving up on it yet.

I watched a long video of Andrew Camarata improving one of his buildings. I like watching videos of people working.
Or Cooking. I checked in with Maria in Ukraine last night. I do like watching her work......Something very relaxing about her life.

There are lots of old B&W Universal 'B' movies on YouTube, many of them Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce starring as Holmes and Watson. Not demanding, crystal clear sound, no zooms or flash backs. In short, very relaxing entertainment!

Episode 2 with Sir Trevor McDonald, it's proper 'gentle' watching :good:
Binge watched the other two episodes, Bill was with Paul Merton and the one I found most interesting, Sean Ryder.

I've tried to find the pub walks twice but so far I have failed.
Just searched for it on here and put it on My4. That should cure it!

We have started watching Robbie Cummings on Canal Journeys again, followed by Villages by the Sea, both easy, and interesting programmes.

Same here Gloria except that Canal Journeys has had a lot of footage cut out. In the original programme we saw more of his trip through this area. There was only a brief mention of the Foulridge Tunnel and his overnight stay in Barnoldswick. Unless I fell asleep of course! :laugh5:

Just a mention that last night ITV3 began showing the very first series of Shetland, we recorded it and are looking forward to a binge watch tonight.

We caught up with the first of the second series of Beyond Paradise last night, can’t say I enjoy it as much as Death in Paradise. Passenger tonight, hopefully that becomes more understandable. It must be my age, but all these plots on tv dramas nowadays seem so complicated.

I'm watching an old Miss Marple - old, but quite rational, understandable, and enjoyable.

Memorable quote "The Crackenthorpes still live there - he's a bit of a valetudinarian".

Imagine my surprise when Google shows there actually is a Crackenthorpe Hall in Cumbria.

They were doing repeats of Lewis not long ago and they were brilliant. Complex plots but you didn't need to be a member of MENSA to follow them.
