Hiya Lyne, I too like olde Barrowford stuff as I lived there for a while when I was a baby. Dixon Street was the place. The place has changed quite considerably, but I do like looking at any photos of the place.

Hi Sunray, Good to know some one else is interested in Barrowford. My father was born there and his family lived in many houses in the area. ironically his mother lived in Dixon St for awhile when she was very young.

It would be good if a moderator who knew what he was doing edited the title of this thread to 'Barrowford Matters' or something similar. I'm afraid it's beyond me!

With the topic name change, not really applicable in the introductions thread, so moved to here which seems more fitting for the new title.
