Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Yesterday afternoon the rain came in as forecast before 16:00 and at 20:00 we had a light wind and constant rain. This morning first thing I noticed that the yellow warning for rain had disappeared from our screens and that while we still had the light breeze, it had stopped raining. I have just had another look and we have heavy rain. The glass has fallen slightly to 1012mb and the forecast is for this rain to stop about now and for the rest of the day to be dry but overcast. The Constant westerly wind is light to moderate and gives us a high of 10C, a low of 7C tonight and only a very slight wind chill. The outlook is for similar temperatures for the rest of the week with rain on Wednesday and Thursday. This is kind weather for winter!

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Yesterday afternoon we had some light rain after 15:00 but it was only a spatter. By 20:00 we had a light breeze and a clear sky with a good moon. It was the same first thing this morning and there has been no change since. The glass has risen and is on 1023mb. The forecast is for a spell of heavy rain from 05:00 to 06;00 but then dry bright and overcast for the rest of the day. The constant moderate westerly winds gust to 30mph this morning but then calm a little for the rest of the day. The high will be 8C and the low 6C tonight with a -4C wind chill at times during the day. The outlook is for the mild weather to continue, rain forecast for Wednesday and Thursday. Then a touch cooler but nothing to frighten the horses!
Later at 04:30. It has started raining heavily.

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Yesterday afternoon was largely bright and sunny but with a light spatter of rain around 15:30. At 20:00 we had a light breeze and some overcast but it was dry. This morning it was still dry and there has been no change since. The glass has fallen a touch to 1021mb. The forecast is for an overcast morning and then heavy rain coming in at midday to see the day out. The mainly SW wind is moderate and gusts to almost 40mph giving us a high of 10C and a low of 5C tonight with a wind chill of -4C for most of the day. The outlook is for two days of heavy rain and after tomorrow, falling temperatures to more like the seasonal norm but drier with it. Still good weather!

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
We've got a bright sunny morning so I thought it would be sensible to go into Town Square and do some veggie shopping rather than wait until it's raining tomorrow. All unpacked and in its place. Nice to sit down!

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Yesterday afternoon the rain came in 0n schedule after midday. By 20:00 it had ceased and we had a clear sky with some ragged cloud and a good moon. First thing this morning it was still clear and dry but a light breeze has sprung up and we are promised rain starting any minute now and lasting until mid-afternoon. The glass has fallen back to just under 1009mb and falling very quickly. We have the forecast of rain all day. The moderate wind starts in the South but backs during the day until it is in the west by this evening, It will gust to 40mph and gives us a high of 10C and a low of 6C with a -4C wind chill for most of the day. The outlook is for cooler, clearer and drier weather for the rest of the week.
05:30. The glass is down on 1004mb and still falling fast.

Yesterday was a day of heavy rain. At 20:00 it had stopped raining but first thing this morning we had heavy rain again. It is still raining now. The glass fell all day yesterday, it's down on 981mb this morning and still falling. The forecast is for the rain to stop about now but return this morning between 8 and 10. Adelaide- Our heatwave is almost over
Today we have 34C and it’s +7C above the average daily high. Tomorrow we are expecting 23C .
We can breathe for 1 day, before it heats up again.

Yesterday it rained until well into the afternoon then we had the odd break of sunshine. It’s rained quite hard during the night, but is dry at the moment, looks like it could go either way though.

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Yesterday was wetter than forecast. At 20:00 it was calm and it had stopped raining. We had a clear sky but with low ragged clouds. This morning we were back to a light breeze and cold rain. The glass fell all day yesterday and reached 973mb this morning and still tending to fall. The forecast is for sunny intervals and showers all day. The constant moderate WSW wind gives us a high of 5C and a low of 0C tonight with up to -5C wind chill. The outlook is for this colder weather to persist but perhaps be a bit drier.

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Yesterday afternoon was as per the forecast, sunny intervals and the odd spatter of rain. At 20:00 it was breezy, dry and we had ragged clouds partly blocking the otherwise clear sky. This morning first thing it was calm, clear and frosty. It is still the same. The glass has risen to 984mb and is still rising. The forecast is for a partly overcast, mainly dry day with sunny intervals. The southerly wind is light all day and we have a high of 6C and a low of 0C tonight with an occasional -3C wind chill. The outlook is for similar weather but perhaps rain Thursday and Friday.
