Have we had this before? I seem to remember way back someone saying they were weights that were put on the tips of cows horns to make them turn down, or was that something else?

Yes China, it's an oldie and Wendy has it exactly right. They are the tins that filled a tray which was used by the tacklers to pay out wages in the mill every week.
Next one?

Here is an object found by my granddaughters on the path coming off Penyghent the other week. They kept it to themselves for a while as they delightfully though they had found a fairies magic wand! They eventually handed it over to see if I could make it work, that in itself was a magic moment!

What is it and can you name the maker.

Is it for cleaning debris out of the soles of climbing/hiking boots?
It looks like you could tie a string through the top and stake your pet tortoise, so it can only roam so far.

I'm dying to know what it is...

Someone took note of the preamble to the image. It's a bit more wordly than that though.

Something like one of these? Emergency fire lighter

Might get one - why be without it for 99p?

PS - How on earth can they make it, pack it, ship it from Malaysia, and make any profit?

It must be a pocket knife sharpener....

I'll come clean, Stanley has the function and Wendy has the use. It's made by Victorinox manufacturers of the original Swiss Army Knife. It's supplied with some models of the knife and is available as an accessory. It is now in service with my CK pocket knife and can put a decent edge on the blade.

Could it be for resting your wrist on while writing script etc, so you don't smudge?

Or could it be a spacer of some sort?
