broadstone 1930
The front of Broadstones Farm circa 1930, most of its original mullion windows have over the centuries been replaced but to the left partly obscured there is one in situ, the house dated to the early to mid 17th century and the attatched barn was single storey typical of medieval barns, the chapel of ease was believed to have been within this complex of buildings. The local blacksmith had his forge and workshop in the end of the barn.
