Have you got one of those nets sold for use with garden ponds? A length of bamboo cane with a net on one end. It will give you a longer reach. Bring it down over the shrew, slip a sheet of card under, flip it over and bingo! One shrew taken into custody for its own protection!

Re: WHAT ATTRACTED YOUR ATTENTION TODAY?

I have just managed to get this page up to reply after 15 minutes at least delay. This included 502 bad gateway and asking for my password. In the few times I've been able to get in recently I've had to enter my password. Is this due to the main problem or have we set it in an attempt to make it ha...

I got a text message last Friday saying I could book a Covid vaccination so I went online and found that they were starting from Monday. I could have booked any time that day and chose a slot in the afternoon. They now use rooms in what was the old bus station here in Taunton. Turned up about 5 minu...

I logged in sometime between 09.00 and 10.00 with no problem and did one post. Later, probably between 10.00 and 11.00 I couldn't log in, just got the whirling symbol on Firefox. Left it a little while and it was still the same. Thanks for all your work, Ian and Wendy!

A damning report - we know the smart motorways are dangerous, here's more evidence, yet National Highways denies there is anything wrong.
