Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

I decided there was no point waiting for dry weather and went to the Co-op to do the shopping. There were some cleaning materials that needed topping up and would you believe I spent £38 on two carrier bags? I feel sorry for anyone who has a family to shop for....... You missed 'moonface' and his p...

Re: Seen in the News

It's on the radio too, this has got to be the biggest 'non-story' for a long time. Have they looked at pictures on social media recently? I don't even recognise my own granddaughters in the pictures they post.
What a load of nonsense about nothing.

Re: WHAT ATTRACTED YOUR ATTENTION TODAY?

I heard (via Australia!) that Lily's chickenpox isn't a heavy infection, mainly a rash. As I understand it the rash comes first and the fever later so I think it may be a bit early to start clapping hands. I looked it up and the incubation period for adults can be over 21 days so I shall just have ...

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?

They had fancy names but it was cauliflower soup and roast pork belly at The Devonshire Arms, Bolton Abbey for me. A lovely meal for twenty of us, all around one big table in a private room, to celebrate two 60th birthdays. It was a lovely evening but I was glad to get home to bed.

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

I am sitting and drinking coffee. Considering cooking a sausage, bacon, black pudding and egg bun for lunch as there are a few bits in the fridge that need using. That's about as exciting as it's getting here today apart from going to The Raj for tea (that's quite exciting).

Nice looking car Kev is it petrol or diesel? It's the 2.0 diesel, the 150bhp tdci. Returns 60+ mpg if you're not too heavy on the right foot. I think the Dyson would be in the bin, I looked at replacing the motor on my old DC08 but bought a Shark in the end. It wasn't much more than a replacement m...
