Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
What is the source of your sensory deficit in your foot, Plaques? Nerve damage? (See...I get really angry, because I know there is absolutely no problem with my foot...nor my leg. I have a perfectly normal limb. My problem is the spinal nerve, so I treat the limb as normally as possible and exercise...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
Try pedalling Plaques. Panbiker will tell you it takes quite a bit of concentration to zero in on where your foot is every few seconds, especially if you hit a bump. Hard work...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
I had no problem pedalling, Plaques. All was going well until son overtook me at speed and started laughing. Otherwise, I would have pedalled along, not knowing. I have only been comfortable in either my slippers or one pair of sneakers for two years now. I hate that I can only wear other flat shoes...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
Absolutely true Wendy. It was 17C when we got up and I cooked Bacon Butty for three...about 19C when we set off. I need the slippers because my right foot suffers numbness after the disc herniation. If I keep that foot warm, it stops painful cramps. Nerve damage is a buggar. (The other foot overheat...

Just in a rush this morning, Sis. Doesn’t happen often ( though  I have had a few fashion failures over the years. I tend to step outside the door and take off without checking) :biggrin2: that is just ME! I am the one who wore a tea towel draped over one shoulder to the supermarket once... :bi...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
I enjoyed that about the Worm... We decided on another bike ride of about 16 kilometres today...the perfect thing to work off a Bacon Butty Breakfast. It would take us past the Sunday Markets, then along another coastal path, up hill, to a lookout. Rain stopped the fun before we got to the markets, ...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19) Corner
Sleep is a great healer Panbiker...and I am glad your Jack is at better ease...good news. One holiday I spent in UK had week long rentals here and there....and I was so ill at one place that I spent 5 days unable to get off the couch except for a glass of water or to visit the loo. I lay there, pray...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
Happy Birthday Sue! We went for a bike ride and did 21 Kilometres ! I couldn’t believe it when my son produced evidence from his phone. It was an overcast morning and not unbearably hot, so I enjoyed every moment. ( he brought his bike to ours, so it was coastal paths along the beach). Not an ounce ...

Re: Get on Your Bike!
Son bought his bike to ours and we had an early morning ride together along the beach. He informed us we rode 21 kilometres! (He tracks it all on his phone). Wow...hubby and I are pretty pleased with ourselves. Son has done much longer rides of course. He snapped this as we were putting our bikes aw...

One thing that stuck in my mind when we spent a week in Wales...was the size of Welsh men’s THIGHS! All the men I saw had really chunky legs. ( there must be a sport suitable for these chaps).

Harvested a mass of Rhubarb from our front garden again, so hubby has enjoyed a bowl of Rhubarb and Custard tonight ( I made him a cup of custard in the microwave). He really enjoyed it. Free food.

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
Really weird weather here today. We had a cool morning, which influenced my choices for evening meal. Then a huge nasty wind came through. Then the temp rose to over 25 C...then a huge wind came through and took us back to 20C. Now, at dinner time, it is just really sweaty and tropical. So dinner to...

Our supermarkets do not sell alcohol here ( you need to go to the bottle shop, taking with you a cloth bag constructed for bottles, as our bottle shops are bag free).

Waiting to hear that this fabulous new lass is settling in and giving Sparky some distraction.
Poor old Sparky. I imagine he is feeling the loss off his dear old stable mate.
