I believe there are two variant jabs. One for the under 65's and another for those over. Apparently I qualify for the latter even though I am still 64, I am in my 65th year. :extrawink:
Although younger I wonder as I have some serious health conditions which is the suggested 'best' one ?

Halogen light bulbs to be banned under EU ruling. People are being pushed down the road of using the more efficient LED bulbs in place of the existing Halogen type. Halogen will still be available until the existing stocks are used up. Link. . Generally speaking I've no problem with this but admit ...

See THIS BBC report of a strange outbreak of contamination of fresh strawberries in Oz by inserting sewing needles in them. This baffles me completely. What is going on? Are some people completely mad? It was malicious contanimation of products that gave rise to things like the 'safety cap' on jars...

What I don't get about this is that there is no direct evidence here, none that would stand up in court anyway, it's all circumstance and supposition. What they have is a few CCTV pictures of two blokes in Salisbury. Claimed traces of the nerve agent in their hotel room. If that's the case why aren...

Never knew for storing fruit (apples and similar) , wrap individually with semi-glossy magazine paper, helps reduce spore and other disease spread rather than storing them next to each other. (on the telly yesterday morning so probably well-known, but not to me)

You could power a typical house with bell wire sized cabling if there was enough batteries to supplement the peaks. Given that modern tech wise half the 'brown goods' in the house all have step downs from the 240v to 6v 12v to 20v and fairly minimal amps (and mostly DC) should new developments have...

I'm always a bit confused by the 1940s events, given that WW2 lasted for only just over half the decade. Do the railway shops ration sweets and books all to have the 'produced to govt standards (ie cheap paper), (rationing of course went on further into the decade). Are the medical services charging...
