Today is the first day in what seems like weeks that I haven’t smelt any smoke, and my view of the Adelaide Hills is completely clear today. No bushfire smoke, no haze, no smell. Back to normal :smile:

You live in a very different world China, sounds a lot cheaper (cost wise) than Australia :smile:

But then I don’t know what the average wage is compared to ours, and too many variants, I would imagine.

Gosh China. It brings to mind the way things were done years ago ie milkmen, bakers etc visiting every street, except these days they come by bike, vans and small trucks . It all sounds very efficient.
How much does it cost to have a grocery shop delivered? I think it’s $15 here.

Because he is dressed so well, I think he is a horse and carriage driver/ chauffeur and the broom is to sweep any mess or horse dung out of the way for his wealthy passengers.

United States Firefighters received a hero’s welcome at Sydney Airport today. Footage of the fireys walking thru arrivals has been uploaded onto social media this morning. It shows hundreds of Aussies stopping to applaud and cheer as the fires walk thru. :good:

I recently had my photos from my old phone transferred onto my new phone. My daughter did it and it involved both my phones, her laptop and a ‘black box’ which I think was to do with WiFi (??), anyway she sent all my old photos to The Cloud’, then brought them back onto my new phone. I remember in 1st year of High School, a teacher called Mr. Peard who was a nasty individual, especially to the boys. One day he got so annoyed with a male student and dangled him out the window of the second storey window while holding him by his feet!
