Re: MEDICAL MATTERS

Re my Apple iPhone... I didn’t buy it.
It was a present from my daughter, and I love it. 💕😀

Should mention that she works for Telstra Aust. and it was a very good deal. I only pay $10 a fortnight for as much Internet as I want.

I’m having the same problem as Marilyn. When I try to post a reply it immediately asks me to Log In ‘again.’ I’m on an Apple iPhone.
And sometimes when I go from topic to topic.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid19) Corner

878FD4FD-61EB-4912-BC56-3C7ADD3BE9D4.png Just asking a question... don’t jump on me. Is the Covid App new to England/UK? Is this something new or a different version because it involves the NHS? I’ve had our (Aust.) Covid-19 Sade App on my phone since 27 April ‘20. Lots of info sections available o...

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER

Right decision Stanley, you’ve done your bit for dogs, many times over 😊
26% of the UK adult population have a dog (that’s 9.9million dogs)
And that guy you spoke to meets a lot of people, he will help to find someone to adopt the dog. 👍

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

My ex husband used to say ‘I’m built for comfort, not speed’. He loved his food, probably still does.
Whenever he needed to lose weight he used to blame it on his ‘stomach bones’. :surprised:

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

I feel for you Wendy. I hope you can save some of your efforts for Autumn colour. I have just potted up some annuals for Spring/Summer colour, and still have a rose to do. Small birds are always here, and butterflies are already visiting. Won’t be long before the bees notice . I’m looking forward to...

Re: TIZER'S SCIENCE NEWS

That was a bit of an eye opener Stanley. Still can’t fathom that length of time. I looked into different things around 500,000 yrs ago and was reminded that we are born herbivores, and we only started eating meat about 6,000 years ago. Is 6,000 years right, because considering that, it makes you thi...

Re: Old fashioned clean jokes

From FB land. The old lady handed her bank card to a bank teller and said, “I would like to withdraw £10.” The teller told her, “For withdrawals less than £100 please use the ATM.” The old lady wanted to know why.... The teller returned her bank card and irritably told her, “These are the rules. Ple...

Right, and if everyone added a few more dollars as well, it might just ‘touch the sides’.
A good way to keep people aware of what is needed tho 😋

$25 million (about one for every Australian) ‘Donation Dollars’ will be released into the Australian currency over the next few years.
It is hoped that people will give it away to charities.
Message on coin is ‘Give to help others’.

Re: PET'S CORNER

I think it’s almost like losing a child for them.
I say almost because I have a child, and obviously that would be a much harder loss, but for the childless , the pet is like their child.
