Re: HOUSEHOLD TIPS NOT FOUND IN WOMAN'S WEEKLY

Ah, stockings, yes all good as long as they are the ones that stay-up by themselves. Definitely not the ones that need suspender belts and clips that dig in to the legs.
Definitely wouldn't go back to them...

Re: HOUSEHOLD TIPS NOT FOUND IN WOMAN'S WEEKLY

I haven't worn pantyhose for about 30yrs, I'm very much a pants/trousers girl. It could very well be different in cooler climes, but here where it's much warmer, I don't think it's healthy for a female to wear them. Same with too tight jeans.

Re: WHAT ATTRACTED YOUR ATTENTION TODAY?

I realise that it isn't on quite the same level, but it takes me back to the late '70's / early 80's when I was working at RM Williams and our then Prime Minister - Fraser - came for a visit. His entourage of security, sectretaries, p.a.'s etc arrived in huge black cars and filled our front car-park...

Re: HOUSEHOLD TIPS NOT FOUND IN WOMAN'S WEEKLY

I enjoy trying to work out the voices of actors in children's animated movies and cartoons etc. There are many big-name actors who do this. Also just recently I have watched Vintage Roads Great and Small, then when watching The Yorkshire Vet I realised that Christopher Timothy who played James Herri...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

Re my posting problem, it happens only occasionally. Something tells me it might be my phone. I always post from my phone.
It happened again in the last few days so I'll look back to see if I can find it.

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

It has sometimes happened to me after typing in a post and pressing submit that my post doesn't appear. On checking Active Topics I can see that someone else has submitted a post on the same topic at the same time, maybe a few seconds before, and I have to retype and submit.
