Bumped in case anyone hasn't seen the PE cover.... Mine arrives on a Thursday now - after years if being on a Wednesday. Not conclusive, but I suspect the Royal Mail have quietly stopped the daily delivery. Anyone know anything about that? Pete? I've noticed a big deterioration in postal deliveries...

I've just had a look at their 'cycle route' and the directions given take you up Red Lion Street in Earby instead of the proper route of Stoney Bank Road...!

The mill seems to still attract lots of visitors as one of English Heritages' properties. Being a Cumbrian by birth, I recognise this as hematite (or kidney ore) I had a piece which I found on a spoil heap near Frizington in my rock collection when I was a kid ..!
