Sorry folks, I must not have asked my question clearly enough.
In 1963 Dr James Deans Rankin (deceased) property was called Kirklands (church lands) when it was sold to the Barnoldswick Masonic Hall Ltd.
I was asking, when and who named it so ??
Any takers ?

Stanley, your comment is interesting regarding the foundation, do you have a picture or drawing of any kind, showing the original building, as you describe ?
