I'm not sure why there is a limit of thirteen characters including spaces for this 'game' . The current limit from the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), is eighteen, and this is also the limit in Australia. Thanks for the suggestions so far but I'm sure there must be a minefield out there waiting to be cleared. Plase bear in mind that colloquialisms might not be understood by everyone.
