Re: WHAT ATTRACTED YOUR ATTENTION TODAY?
Being accosted by Cllr. Whipp as I went about my business. He has a query connected with naming a new road after Edie Barlow a well-known midwife in the town. He started to ask me but then realised he was late chairing a meeting and said he'd email me..... So I am left in suspense..... Not for the f...

They seem to be ignorant about paragraphs also Peter. Almost every sentence is punctuated as a paragraph. That makes for very disjointed reading.

Re: Seen in the News
The real scandal is the fact that we can't manage top secret programmes like that in-house. Another example of how outsourcing can be a very slippery slope. We found that out a long time ago with hospital cleaners cutting corners under the Blair government but seem to have forgotten the valuable les...

The first time I came across 'hoo' was in Accrington and the man who was using the word was referring to the man who had taken his crowbar. I thought he was saying 'who' and it all got very confusing.

We had a wet start to the day so I have top-dressed the backyard flags with a light scattering of soda to start the killing of the algae. I shall be in the shed at 06:00 carrying on with making myself a connecting rod. Later this morning I am going to give my aerial man a call. I have been having so...

It was a comment on a radio programme David, I don't know who it was. As I said, it was a whisper and sounded plausible. I haven't heard her make any comment about it. As for who is telling the truth, we never know that do we until corroboration arrives. Something somewhere is holding up completion ...

Benny to Bennie: a winning combination. A player doesn’t have to be bigger and rougher than his opponent, but he must have well-grounded habits of technique. That's exactly why I like to see it also Cathy. Sometimes when we let the calves out they hurt themselves by doing silly things like running straight into hedges but they soon got better and it didn't stop them being happy.
