I hope your tea stains come out nicely Sue.
We may be lucky today, the expected thundery weather looks to be a West Coast thing. Fingers crossed anyway. I hope you have a good day.

See THIS for the news you have all been waiting for. Swiss singer Nemo has won the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden, with their song The Code. A compelling hybrid of opera and hip-hop, it topped the jury vote, helping the 24-year-old gain an impressive score of 591 points. The singer becomes the fi...

HERE'S another small piece of evidence of climate change. One of the most common types of mosquito has been identified for the first time in locations across Scotland, according to researchers at the University of Glasgow. They found 16 types of mosquito in Scotland, including the Culex pipiens, wh...

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?

I often wonder how much my diet of home cooked food starting from raw natural ingredients has to do with my health. Apart from my right knee, cancer and type 2 Diabetes I am in good health. How many men my age look after themselves like I do? (I say 'men' because women are more likely to manage thes...

Yesterday afternoon was the warmest day yet this year. At 20:00 we had bright overcast but late evening sun was coming in under the overcast from the west. This morning it is calm, dry, mild and overcast, the glass is down on 1015 and the forecast is for a day of bright overcast and sunny spells wit...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

The pork belly made a good addition to the veggies! I shall be in the shed at 06:00 and this morning will have to address the subject of drilling steam passages in the cylinder and the standard. It's not an easy process and much of it is guesswork. I shall be glad when it is finished! Apart from tha...

I think you're right David. From what I can make out, you only have to look sideways at someone to get expelled from the contest. Not like that here at Graham Towers. I have seen nothing of the aurora, I'll believe what everyone says about it. Could that be what's making my knee hurt worse this last...

It's a nice morning for the market Sue.... I hope you have a pleasant shop.
I have just retrieved the belly pork and committed it to the next stage of the plan, being cut up into bite sized chunks and stewed slowly with diced fried potatoes..... It can do that without any supervision. :biggrin2:
