Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
I shall be in the shed as usual at 06:00 but with added urgency as I have to finish at least one engine before the end of May. I think the answer is going to be overtime! Apart from that nothing on the agenda except that I must start thinking about veggie shopping for the next cooking session! Amazi...

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER
Yesterday afternoon we had a short spell of very welcome sunshine, made such a change! But by 20:00 we had slipped back into calm dry and overcast. It's like that again this morning and the glass is steady on 1004mb with a forecast of cloudy until midday and them light rain interspersed with light s...

Scottish politics takes the stage. See THIS report that Swinney has won the3 leadership of the SNP. SNP leadership front-runner John Swinney is expected to succeed Humza Yousaf unopposed after a potential challenger withdrew his bid at the 11th hour. Earlier on Sunday it emerged that veteran SNP act...

Have you noticed that the in-word to use as a descriptor if you are selling a knife, a flash light, or anything used outdoors is 'tactical'. I have just seen an advert for a 'tactical waterproof jacket'.

So I'd better get cracking! This morning I have been for my short walk and a sit on traffic d...
