Re: PET'S CORNER
Misty was 15 years 3 months when she left us but the vets were happy to operate as they said she had the heart of a 7 year old. These two are lively but obedient. Came over Blubberhouses on Friday. No sign of Boris O'Storiths or Beamsley Bob. Village rumour is that they have gone to Japan with Mrs Trellis to enjoy the Rugby World Cup. Come to think of it one of the Japanese players looked remarkably like Boris. Nolic

Re: OBITUARIES
The "Crown Jewels" incident was raised by Alan McKewan, self styled expert on everything. He "reluctantly" let it be known that he was party to secret information that they were housed in Skipton, not Clitheroe, Castle during the war. Nolic

Re: THE PILGRIMAGE OF GRACE 01
Henry VIII remained largely traditional and catholic (small c ) in his personal worship. Th destruction of the monasteries and the break from Rome were done to aid his finances and his marriage to Anne Bolyen. Thomas Cromwell was more revolutionary in his pusuit of the Protestant religion and it was...

Re: GOOD TV
I've liked Line of Duty from the start but I found Sunday's episode difficult because of the frequent use of police acronyms....reminded me of my time in Ofsted. Just checked with Google and The Sun comes to the rescue. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/8767468/line-of-duty-acronyms-ocg-uco-itv-...
