Thanks Tinks. Feeling a bit better and managed to get a fair bit of preparation work done for some training I'm doing next week.

Re: Is it just me ....
I feel strongly that we should not be looking to cater for young people in any specific way - particularly through chat rooms. If youngsters have an interest in the site by all means encourage it but I would not wish to see another platform that could be used for cyber bullying or relational bullyin...

Re: GOOD TV
Has anyone been watching Borgen, one of the Danish TV productions that BBC 4 have shown over the past 12 months. Subtitles but that doesn't detract from good story lines and excellent acting. Even better that "The Killing". Try to catch the repeats if you like good political drama and intr...

I'm not sure that by including the things Doc mentions that young people would necessarily be attracted to the site- they can get their fill of music, video , games etc. elsewhere and I think that chat rooms are a igb no go area - ideal place for paedophiles to contact youngsters and supervision wou...

Ian, many thanks for the report on my dad in your last post. I think the new format threw us all. I am not a technical person and in many ways I'm a Luddite in hating change but I think Doc has got it absolutely spot on with the new site. Posting pictures and clips/hyper links is quite straightforward and the general posting options with previews and a spell ...
