in my locality they talk about a "smoke doctor" he would modify your flue / chimney to get the maximum draught, they say he was so good that if you left the door open the draw was that strong it would pull the smoke from the top of the chimney back into the fire!!

Taper reamers, but what for ?, my eperience lead me into three types, tapered sprue bushes used in injection moulding, "morse" or similar as used on lathes , drills, etc, and taper pin reamers used in machine assembly, i'll plump for the latter ?

Tizer, an "Acme" thread, in profile is very similar to a square thread, but instead of the vertical faces being parallel there is an included angle of 29 deg., this make the thread easier to produce, and when used on a lead screw it makes it easier to engage the split nut when screw cuttin...

A plan view would help, but it could also be for cutting square or acme threads depending ont form, material it looks as though it might have a brazed tip ?, if not high carbon steel

Are they , teeth, serrations, bristle, or threads ?, it looks a little like some form of tap, or something for teasing, grinding etc.
