Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

We visited last year. Lots of events on up at the castle. Raptor flying, food and historical merriment, (or how history should be taught). It was a nice day out with the grandchildren.

Re: POLITICS CORNER

It's a bit like any kind of spin you can bend the rules (especially out of date by 36 year ones) to fit your purpose, even if you know you are in the wrong it would seem. Anyway like I said, there will be no problem in the future as we have educated them up to the current status. :extrawink:

A couple of points here Tripps. First, the reference is taken from the 1983 act which bears this caveat: Changes to legislation: There are outstanding changes not yet made by the legislation.gov.uk editorial team to Representation of the People Act 1983. Any changes that have already been made by th...

Yes, she re-registered because she couldn't access the site but still failed.
She must have been able to access in order to complete the registration.

Her registration completed correctly, does she get an error message when she tries to access now?

Yes but do they look different in summer? I don't actually know, the leaves just look like mistletoe to me.

Yes, I know it sounds petty but stranger things are found in legal interpretations. Thank goodness you haven't suggested sugar in the tea - that might have been a hanging offence! All the legal advice that we have been given, from the Borough and our party legal advisors are in agreement th...

Re: POLITICS CORNER

I should have made it plain that David is not up for re-election to the County or Borough this May just the Town Council. Depending on which recommendations go through, we could be in for radical changes to the existing ward structure across West Craven. Boundary commission is looking to reduce the ...

Just like politics Stanley, few actually look at the bigger picture and prefer short term gain. We both know where that has got us.

Yes I had the leaflet Ian, he has my vote. I also read yesterday's pamphlet and now understand that if David is on the slate it will be for County and so no competition for Sally. Have I got that right? Not exactly Stanley. No County Council elections this time just Borough and Town Councils. All o...

Re: COMPUTERS, THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY

When I was making a living system building, my first question was always "what do you need a computer for". I would agree that chucking more money at it for minimal gain is pointless. Buy some more castings Stanley, something proper complicated that will keep you going in the shed for a few years. G...

There was a lot of backlash to his stance yesterday and some folk were so gobsmacked they were pledging...

When I heard Macron telling the nation it would be in use again, fully restored, in five years I thought hello, another politician engaging his mouth without putting his brain into gear.... He could live to regret saying that. I was a bit surprised as well. They featured the York Minster fire over ...

That's only relevant if you don't need to put them back on. I got pretty good at both putting them on and taking them off, the shower was a good incentive and to be relished every morning. We had a wet room on the Neuro Ward, it was bliss.

I think the two towers have survived but the damage apart from the roof is the internal wooden infrastructure. French businessmen are already pledging hundreds of millions of euro's for the rebuild. £350million so far, I reckon it will need a lot more considering the budget for our parliament buildi...

On the statins, it's the lack of proper monitoring that's the problem. The docs stick you on them and assume it's a fix. Very few are followed up with monitoring to test the effectiveness. I sorted mine with change of diet, Sally is on a statin as she cant alter it by food as she is already eats a p...
