Early walk to our friends house just of site as it is his birthday today. Too hot to sit out so went to Concarneau walled city near the sea so at least there was a sea breeze. Had a coffee in a little cafe on the front then came back but it's still to hot to sit out. Eileen

I used to spend the summer coated in calamine when I was a child as a blond pale skin. Didn't manage a tan until I went to stay with my brother in South Africa and by being able to tan slowly instead of the rushed 2 weeks as most people try to do the tan came and now only needs touching up but alway...

I think Angelina was very brave. I also read an article by a doctor who also prempted breast cancer who having had a double mastectomy, also had a hysterectomy as that is the next port of call according to her. She then found that she had pancreatic cancer for which there was no cure so in her case ...

Don't remember the Wall's ice cream man on a tricycle ours were Sabini or Manfredi, we used to also have a mister softee which I hated yuch! Dave also was told the ice cream had run out when the chimes sounded. The Asians have taken over the van trade in our area but are not as plentiful as they use...

Is it a first World War service medal? Can't remember which one of the medals had this design before were they not called Pip, Squeak and Wilfred? I did some research for a friend whose father had one of these and also Military Medal which was issued I believe to the ranks as they couldn't be awarde...

Hello Sue, we know how the weather changes so fast here. It cooked us yesterday but wasn't half cold last night. We went to a 50th birthday party and they had a gas heater burning all evening. Today the sky is blue and not a cloud in the sky so horizontal gardening for me today with a book. Eileen
