Everyone has to rely on the NHS list. Stent removal today. A procedure which took less than 5 minutes, but for which I was admitted for ...

We all need support:

Plus the DWP has now put me into the support group of ESA, though some prominent people still don't believe that I have a disabling condition.

Re: MEDICAL MATTERS

Look on the bright side, thanks to the Labour government of 1945 it's free..... Is it? Think of the knock on effects to others trying to use the service. Turns out that the issue is simple lack of standardisation within different pieces of the NATIONAL Health Service. They all have a long list of d...

Is that meant to be a rebuttal of the allegation that the Noble Lord secretly finances the Pendle CP? If so it's not very clear..... Some clarity needed, especially in an election week. We know how David produces his leaflets... old fashioned breeches arse steam. Not at all. My comments are already...

After a two week wait for an appointment, I turned up (Monday) for the blood test to check my antibody levels to be greeted with "We don't have any tubes that colour, you'll have to go to Airedale" 45 minutes each way, for one tube of blood? Only the NHS could think that this was a valuabl...

Re: MEDICAL MATTERS

At the end of the day, the patient has the last call on any medication and thus it is best to be fully informed and take into consideration all effects before coming to that decision. At any time you can refuse treatment and ask for a second opinion. They don't tend to like that, but it does remove ...

But it's probably a Blue Party leaflet in Coates Ward that's put the cat amongst the pigeons this weekend. The Conservatives have been portraying their candidate as a home loving lad, with headlines like "Barnoldswick The Place I Love To Call Home". The BP flyer quotes a social network po...
