Thank goodness the company repaired the seals on our porch door a few weeks ago. We'd have had a porch full of water now!

Cathy, I'm always ranting about the supermarket trolley handles as an effective contamination route for colds, flu, norovirus etc. No wipes are provided here and as far as I know the supermarkets don't do anything about cleaning handles. At this time of year I try to remember to wear gloves! :smile:...

It's the Royal Albert Bridge at Plymouth. Is the reason the combination of the tubular top trusses and the chain bottom trusses? There was no outward force on the piers. Brunel had to use a design that allowed for the two approaches being curved.

Perhaps hydrogen peroxide would be useful for clearing fat and grease from drains? After all, it's peroxide in Otex and Earex drops that clear wax from our ears. As the peroxide reacts with organic matter it releases oxygen and the bubbles break up the wax.
