Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
Accolades to you Big Kev. Hubby did it as long as he able to and got a badge ( blood thinners make it impossible these days). I have always been slightly Anaemic, due to a mostly veg diet... I have been the needy recipient of blood, packed cells and platelets in the past, and I am very grateful for ...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
Mr Febby cleaned the carpet in our extremely large lounge room. The carpet came up a treat.
Hoping to get out for a walk later as it is a beautiful sunny day, but we can’t go just now as all doors and windows are open whilst the carpet dries.

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
How does it work Sue? ( you have an Ap, take your phone for a local walk, and it transfers your distance to the virtual walk?) Is this a free thing? Hubby had a text from our neighbour sometime overnight to say they have had to rush off unexpectedly as his father has died...could we do the bins, col...

Re: PET'S CORNER
It takes a while for a creature to stop missing a mate/owner. When we used to look after my son’s dog for up to three weeks at a time, she was just so damn sad at times...despite walks, cuddles, good food, play time with tug toys etc. Always mystified me, because she was alone quite a lot with son w...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
Hubby and I trimmed our Agapanthus plants this morning, the dead heads filled the Green Bin. That gets collected tomorrow. Looks nice and tidy out the back now. A long walk was had as well. We bought a carpet cleaning machine, so had to watch a YouTube video on how to work it. The small instructiona...

What is the source of your sensory deficit in your foot, Plaques? Nerve damage? (See...I get really angry, because I know there is absolutely no problem with my foot...nor my leg. I have a perfectly normal limb. My problem is the spinal nerve, so I treat the limb as normally as possible and exercise...

Try pedalling Plaques. Panbiker will tell you it takes quite a bit of concentration to zero in on where your foot is every few seconds, especially if you hit a bump. Hard work...

I had no problem pedalling, Plaques. All was going well until son overtook me at speed and started laughing. Otherwise, I would have pedalled along, not knowing. I have only been comfortable in either my slippers or one pair of sneakers for two years now. I hate that I can only wear other flat shoes...

Absolutely true Wendy. It was 17C when we got up and I cooked Bacon Butty for three...about 19C when we set off. I need the slippers because my right foot suffers numbness after the disc herniation. If I keep that foot warm, it stops painful cramps. Nerve damage is a buggar. (The other foot overheat...

Just in a rush this morning, Sis. Doesn’t happen often ( though  I have had a few fashion failures over the years. Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
I enjoyed that about the Worm... We decided on another bike ride of about 16 kilometres today...the perfect thing to work off a Bacon Butty Breakfast. It would take us past the Sunday Markets, then along another coastal path, up hill, to a lookout. Rain stopped the fun before we got to the markets, ...

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...
Happy Birthday Sue! We went for a bike ride and did 21 Kilometres ! I couldn’t believe it when my son produced evidence from his phone. It was an overcast morning and not unbearably hot, so I enjoyed every moment. ( he brought his bike to ours, so it was coastal paths along the beach). Not an ounce ...

Re: Get on Your Bike!
Son bought his bike to ours and we had an early morning ride together along the beach. He informed us we rode 21 kilometres! (He tracks it all on his phone). Wow...hubby and I are pretty pleased with ourselves. Son has done much longer rides of course. He snapped this as we were putting our bikes aw...
