Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?

I seem to have bought in a lot of the veggie fake meat, it is mostly pea and soya based, It should be farming/people friendly. Mince, Burgers, Sausages and Pea pasta. I might even get round to cooking and eating some. :biggrin2: Sounds like you're really looking forward to it! One thing I found out...

The site is working fine here too. Perhaps the powers here have stopped using up all the international bandwidth for their communications with Australia! :biggrin2:

Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

A few weeks ago we had a few hours of very strong winds during a pitch black night. A lot of damage was done across our area, and a mini tornado made it’s path to my daughter’s place. Her immediate neighbour heard and watched it coming, it was full of rubbish it had collected. Luckily my daughter h...

I'll jot the time down if it happens again Ian. I loaded the front page but then individual topics failed to load when selected. This is very unusual for this site, OGFB is usually like lightning even with the restrictions of the great firewall of China. Although I ran a speed test I only checked to...

Re: MYSTERY OBJECTS

I’ve found the site keeps freezing this morning, don’t know if it’s just me. It was very slow for me too and refused to load earlier today which is very very unusual. It wasn't my internet connection because I checked the speed of that. Later it was OK. Mystery object: Anything to do with archery? ...

Tizer...you must understand that people can be born with very ambiguous and rudimentary sex organs...I think it only right that they get to choose who/what they want to be. It’s not dressing up or pretending. We only get one life...everyone deserves a happy one. Whatever anomalies your physical and...

Would it be Hepple Street or similar, a bit more easier with postcodes now.
Yes, it could have been just the controller mishearing the address but the strange thing is we didn't receive another call.

Apple St. Being honest I can't remember. Its 20 years since I did my study. Knowing how Burnley liked to group its names I would guess at near Pear st. off Oxford road. I will look at my files and report back. I'll tell you the story. Years ago I was a part-time private-hire taxi driver in Burnley ...

Ah, you're on the right track Gloria, be a bit more specific. Look at the 50p coin and assess the size, that's important.

Yesterday I spotted 3 baby fish in my pond but there may be more. One has just turned orange and so was easier to spot. Not sure if they are goldfish or Koi carp. I'm glad at least 3 have survived this year's spawning, we only got one survivor last year, and too many the year before! The bigger fish...

Don't forget in the good old days of industrial revolution something we all admire because it made the UK great. The factory owners paid so little in wages that families gave up their children to be 'looked after' by the owners as a cheap slave labour. Later when the workers got a bit bolshie they ...
