Re: POLITICS CORNER

I don’t dispute any of that but surely he knows that any negative on his part will be picked up on by the Tories. He is no fool. Anyway I just felt it needed saying. The two of them are like children in a playground.

Re: POLITICS CORNER

Its funny how people perceive things in different ways. I always try not to be biased, in this case I support neither of these people or their politics so hopefully I am impartial about the event

Re: POLITICS CORNER

My concern is not so much whether it was sexist but that he used that phrase or similar in a political domain muttered or otherwise. I would have thought the same of any other politician whatever there political inclination. I would have been in serious trouble if I had used such a comment like that...

Re: POLITICS CORNER

Sorry Stanley I think he said Woman. People or woman it is not a term to use in a public place to describe someone you politically oppose, even if it was a private comment. What damage could he do on the world stage with such throw away private comments said in a public domain. As for Brexit well, a...

There are a few things i am not keen on, such as bananas and most sweet puddings. Lancashire and other white crumbly cheeses make me go very hot and red...some sort of allergy I think. I would however eat them if I was hungry and there was nothing else or to be sociable but I would starve rather tha...

Yes, it set beautifully. Beginner's luck?! I put the Baileys into the cream before I whipped it to peaks, then folded the condensed milk and finely chopped Cherry Ripe in. Deliciously creamy Icecream. Thanks, Mary Berry! I used creme de menthe. It was delicious but rather runny. Yoga this morning, ...

( always wanting to walk before I could crawl, I added Baileys and finely chopped Cherry Ripe!) gosh it is creamy a...
