We used to breed Great Danes, basic food was fresh tripes from the local butcher, bit of a chore hosing down and cutting up, but it was free !!, the dogs loved it and had great coats and health, the vet reckoned they were some of the healthiest dogs he looked after

Stanley, going back to old vehicles, did you ever drive with a pre sector gear box ? i tried an old Lanchester a few times and it took a few miles to get the feel of the thing, if my memory is right the North Western buses were Daimlers and had pre selector boxes .

I was involved in making jigs and fixtures, i often had to modify the design to make them idiot proof, i.e. so that the part/s used in them could not be placed in them in an incorrect way
