Re: READ ANY GOOD BOOKS LATELY?

Re: OBITUARIES

Re: FORGOTTEN CORNERS

Mention of birds transporting seeds reminds me of a welder friend of mine who was asked to dismantle and remove the old EWS tank from a flat roof at John Cotton's Mill at Waterside in Colne. He went up and had a look and came down and asked the manager what he was going to do with all the fish insid...

Re: FORGOTTEN CORNERS

When I was at Rainhall Road school in the 50's and early 60's we had our meals prepared there and brought to school mid morning in big aluminium containers. The food was not good and it was usually lukewarm at best. A total contrast at Ermysted's where the food was cooked and served in a Nissan hut ...

He once came down Garden Street in a big flash car, knocked my bike over and crushed it. He said it was my fault for l...

Re: GOOD TV

Comrade, it is harrowing but I think a reasonable portrayal of what youngsters go through in these situation. Rochdale police and social services should hang their heads for the way in which the treated these young girls. I know the woman who went in to try to sort the mess of children's services ou...
