Re: MEDICAL MATTERS
I have to request my repeat prescriptions every 2 months in the NHS app. Wasn't aware of it being available, at the chemist, without a request. I'll have to look into that. My leg is less swollen today and doesn't feel anywhere near as tight, still have a fat foot though. The blockage must be cleari...

Re: WHAT DID WE HAVE FOR TEA?
I stand corrected on the cost of potatoes. If you have a Tesco Clubcard you can get 1.25kgs of potatoes for 49p.
Now, where's my nearest Tesco and how much will it cost me to get there?

Re: Miscellaneous DIY Projects (or bits of jobs)
I am currently connected to a branch main, along with at least 5 more properties. There is a relatively new main that runs along Skipton Old Road that I will be connecting to.

Re: Miscellaneous DIY Projects (or bits of jobs)
I think this is probably the best place for the next project at Chez Kev, the replacement of the lead water pipe. I have a man coming on Saturdayy to price up digging a trench from the kitchen to the back gate. My task today has been locating the shared stopcock out in the street. A conversation wit...

Latest on my fat leg, not so fat today. It's still a strange colour and feels a bit tight but there's definite improvement. Here's a picture if anyone is interested to see what it looks like, hopefully it won't put you off your lunch

Re: MEDICAL MATTERS

I had a sudden, sharp pain in the same leg when I had Covid and had just completed a 6 hour drive from Southampton to home. The pain persisted for a week, I put if down to a strain of some sort but with hindsight...
