https://www.oneguyfrombarlick.co.uk/app.php/gallery/image/10449/medium As I have said before, I suspect many of these old images were done on a Sunday, there are so many people about and in this case children. Re: Today I shall be Mainly...

I shall be in the shed for at least an hour working on muck-shifting on my crankshafts. There is some swarf to go out of the door. As for the rest of the day, there is nothing on my social calender and apart from surprises I will spend it keeping dry and warm. At my age that's what suits me best!

Re: TODAY'S PENNINE WEATHER

Yesterday afternoon stayed dry but cold. At 20:00 it was calm, clearing and cold. Same first thing this morning and so far it hasn't changed. The glass has fallen to 1003mb and the forecast is for a day of sunshine and showers, the showers are due to start any time now. The wind starts in the west, ...

I have wondered why we don't provide a route in to stop the boats. I suppose that the government thinks that the migrants will have 'won'. Does that really matter when people are dying? See THIS depressingly all to familiar news. A teenage girl has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder afte...

I have just managed to get this page up to reply after 15 minutes at least delay. This included 502 bad gateway and asking for my password. Deep Joy. I shall do my best but I forecast posts will be thin on the ground this morning.... Later at 03:40. Back to normal speed..... That didn't last long an...

I shall be in the shed as usual carrying on with making 3 crankshafts for Stuart No. 9 Engines. Not sure after that but it looks like a dry and relatively pleasant day out there from the forecast so I think a walk could be on the cards.
