Re: 'Owt else or Any Other Business

Another bus fire A35 . No mention as to whether it was a battery powered bus, but the ferocity of the fire looks a lot like it. Remember the explosion and fire at the High Court in London last week? Apparently that was the battery from an electric bicycle, and there was another such yesterday in a ...

It would help in selecting MPs if there was a clear definition of what constitutes anti-Semitism. In my book criticising the Israelis for their anti-Palestinian actions is not anti-Semitic. Precisely Stanley. If you listen to the recording of what Azhar said in the supposedly private Labour Group m...

Mr Galloway is mainly targeting Rochdale's Muslim population, who make up about 30% of the electorate, Not correct I think BBC - 30% of the population - but about 20% of the electorate / voters. With a low turnout it will still be enough to win though if they are all "whipped" to vote for...

No Minnie pictures yet as she is still hiding, an expert we reckon. We think she has an invisibility cloak as well! Sunak really has only changed the timeframe ambition at the "retail" level. Embedded in the legislation / regulations remain the things like new build housing having the heat pump/recovery systems and solar in them, this makes sense to design it in from the start, and can / should be done ...

Plaques that's interesting, I believe the phone number is the same for both Earby and Colne, 731370 is that the one you used? The old number is 731731 The new system is 911401. Normally a No6 position in the queue is a 15/20 wait. I thought 911 was barred from a prefix use due to an actual reserved...

You have about 6 days to whack £250 onto a sainsburys christmas club card to get an extra £25 on it. ( £250 by 23.59 1st Nov ) Asda give £15 I think on £250 on their similar one. The Sainsburys one can be used online (with a faff) and in Argos section too. Cards can be registered which should protec...

Me too! Just today I see plans for about 5 miles of new bus lanes in our town to stop them getting caught in traffic (but it's hard to see how they'd fit them into the current road widths). Re: BEWARE! THE BANKS ARE OUT TO GET YOU!

It is being floated in the FT that Hunt is thinking of a rate of tax of 33% on Bank Profits. This of course will lead to higher rates to borrowers and lower rates to savers, it sounds more like a labour policy than a tory one. Do our troubles go back to 1968 and the loosening of credit controls ?

The NHS was fairly good at opening up the lines as people died without being asked as such. When browsing through local streets I found some redacted that I knew were mums friends that were still living. Doing it again a year or so later two had died and their records were on display.
