Good luck with the new teeth, today we will be starting the clean on the van ready for us coming home on Sunday. Got rentals in the van end of July so has to be spot on. Had a few viewings for selling but no takers as yet. Eileen

Eating up now what's in the freezer so last night it was american style hamburgers on a bun. Lunch was ham salad with a piece of a bageutte Eileen

We seem to be starting everyday with dull then mid afternoon bright sunshine (24c yesterday) this stayed until around 9pm. Eileen

After the dull start to yesterday weather was hot and sunny in the afternoon and we sat out until 9pm last night. Today looks the same as yesterday dull so here's hoping we have a repeat of yesterday. Eileen

I got on with my mother in law better than Dave got on with her. He thought his mother in law was wonderful I loved her as well. Today we will be doing bits ready for when we leave next week. Eileen

Good old fashioned corned beef hash cooked it in the slow cooker so we didn't have to have any heat in the van. Sat outside to eat as yet another hot afternoon. I had a banana butty for my lunch it was luverly a bit of what you fancy does you good Eileen

Today we have friends going home to Shropshire the month they came for has soon gone. Today I will be taxing the car, booking the ferry for a week on Sunday and accommodation for Saturday night in Saint Pol de Leon. Eileen

Don't know about the glasses being free on the NHS Stanley,I had my eyes tested and new glasses made when they discovered | had a torn retina. I asked if I was wise to wait the outcome and was assured it would make no difference. I haven't been able to use any of them neither readers or distance so ...

Woken up by wood pigeons and couldn't get back to sleep. Eileen

For the last two days it has been hot and sunny but cold at night. Sat out last night until 9.00 pm then had to come indoors as it went really cold when the sun went down. The weather is a bit like Spring not summer. Eileen

Burger on a bun with a few chips followed by strawberries and ice cream. Lunch was chicken salad on a baguette followed by an orange. Eileen

As long as you are not wistling I hate it when ill fitting teeth whistle. Today is a quick visit to the shops followed by hopefully some horizontal gardening. Eileen

Baking day so last night was pork pies and apple pie and cream for afters Eileen

Today I shall be taking it easy as yesterday when Dave went fishing I cleaned the seats in the van and put them outside to dry as it was a good drying day with the sun and wind. The stuff I used to clean is from the UK upolstery and carpet cleaner from Astonish only 99p for a bottle and it's really ...

I have the same problem, I am back at the hospital on the 9th July to see if the last lot of surgery has been a success and to find the next line of treatment. Definitely better than before the op but still blurred could be another cataract I suppose or the lens has misted up but I am in their hands...

The only thing cheap here is coffee, wine and beer Stanley. Last night for tea we curried the left over chicken from our roast dinner the night before. Eileen

yesterday overcast in the morning afternoon the sun managed to break through but with high winds. Rain during the night and still raining this morning but the sun again is trying to break through will keep you posted on the weather here in Brittany. Eileen

Stanley, cataract surgery does have risks same as anything else. The op I had for retina can cause cataracts and vice versa. However the risks are worth it to have your vision. I have had a new lens and a cataract removed but then more surgery on the retina so may have to have another removed. Eileen

Roast chicken dinner followed by strawberries and ice cream. Eileen

Well it was dry yesterday could feel rain in the air, then we cooked for a few hours and had tea outside, Dave said he thought it would be nice tomorrow and it's raining again. Eileen
