What's your recipe for pickled beetroot Moh? I've just opened my first jar and am disappointed that the vinegar flavour has completely overpowered the beetroot.

I have found the Newchurch MI's but no Higgins or Sutcliffes I'm afraid.

Macaroni cheese & cauliflower bake with a bit of left over boiled ham mixed in. I opened a jar of my own pickled beetroot but it wasn't nice...much too vinegary!

it was light enough to let the hens out at 8.00 this morning, which means my outside jobs can get done a bit earlier. The car was coated in ice.

I still love Neil Young, Crosby Stills & Nash, Nils Lofgren, Bob Dylan, old Joni Mitchell stuff. We have seen Nils Lofgren a few times at local venues. When we first arrived in Colne we were amazed to find he was playing the Muni! Wonderful.

I have found my original avatar online, but the site doesn't like it because it is too big. I have managed to reduce it in size to 75x90, but the file is still too big at about 10kb. Is there any way of getting her back please? I feel a bit lost without her.
