Found on ebay this old pedometer. With very little effort gleaming, and in full working order. It works on a similar principle to the automatic wrist watch, a heavy pendulum drives the clockwork. The steps walked are recorded on the outer dial up to one mile, and then on the right hand sub dial up to 10 miles, and the left one up to a hundred miles. The main chassis is nickel and the back and bezel of Brass, with a glass crystal.

Pocket Barometer. This is a compensated pocket barometer by a famous company Negretti & Zambra. Commonly used by civil engineers and explorers of the past. Not only can you get an indication of the weather, it can be adjusted by the outer bezel being turned to compensate for different heights above sea level. By the use of simple Math it may also be used to calculate the height above sea level. Still in perfect working order.

Worth keeping your eye open but good examples like those are thin on the ground.
