I am on 74%. I am at the hairdressers thus afternoon so may manage a couple of pages!

Well despite nearly falling asleep a couple of times in the hairdressers I became sufficiently gripped to finish the book when I got home. :grin:

I got the gist of the ending but cannot say I liked the book. Far too weird for me. :confused:


Back to a Phillipa Gregory book for me tonight!

Joseph Stiglitz's latest book ' The Great Divide' is now in the Lancashire libraries. Its on the shelf at W H Smiths at £25. Through Amazon its about £11.

It arrived yesterday P and I've started on it. Thanks for the heads up. It's brilliant, hard to read but good enough to force me to try. I was talking to my favourite economist Martha yesterday and she tells me that Stiglitz, Piketty and Paul Krugman in the NY Times are having an impact on the teaching of Economics in the US. Encouraging.....
