Forum for Local Charities

Post by PanBiker »

Would it be possible to have a topic group in the "What's Happening Localy" section for registered Local Charities?

Subforums could then be established for any interested parties.

With the absence of a calendar feature on the site the subforums could be used for announcements or fund raising efforts etc.

I could suggest one that I am involved with to start the ball rolling which would be BE Bosom Friends.

Perhaps a note at the head of the topic group inviting interested local parties to apply for a subforum?

Think one on the to Do list was Churches ( as in most churches are charities as well , but not all charities by any means are religious organisations ) , though it could be a subforum under a renamed Charities and Churches or can fit under where can we go ).
