To compliment The Swing Commanders, we also have our good friends Peter and Jeff, "Company B" who will be spinning the discs on the night. Swing, Lindy, Waltz, Balboa, Foxtrot, Stroll, whatever takes your fancy. They are awfully nice chaps and will take requests for you favourite tunes if you ask them nicely.

A proper good night out with good tunes and a live band for £10 and supporting a local charity too.

Shan't be going to the gig but BF has always struck me as the best sort of local charity, gets on with it quietly and stays the course for a good cause. Well done all of you.

Fantastic night with the Swing Commanders last night at Rolls. We managed yet again to sell out and the place was packed. A varied repertoire of Foxtrot, Waltzes, Barn Dance as well as a host of Swing numbers kept the dance floor full the majority of the time. Plenty of locals willing to get up and have a go at some of the, strolls from the 40's. The lads from Company B played a good selection and took requests in between the bands sessions. We raised over £800.00 with all outgoings paid so a good event for the group. Thanks to all those who turned up and supported the group.
