Airfix and RAF Hendon 2013

Airfix are looking for some of the original box artwork. I can remember a couple of Airfix books which mentioned the names of the artists whom painted for Airfix , I think they were directly employed rather than freelance , and possibly original artwork was sold off when Airfix first ceased as such back in the late 1970s. Anyway thought it might be of interest and someone might know someone.

I was in a model shop the other day and saw among the Airfix kits there was a Yakovlev - I would have wanted to build that when I was a kid as a change from all the usual kits of better known planes!
