Christopher W Bracewell affidavit. 15/12/1896.

STATE OF COLORADO. County of Weld. Ss.

Christopher W Bracewell, the executor of the estate of Mary Bracewell deceased, being duly sworn upon his oath states: That he, said affiant, and Edgar Bracewell, his brother, are the sole legatees under the will of the said Mary Bracewell, deceased. That on the 14th day of February 1893 he purchased from his brother, Edgar H Bracewell, his entire interest in the estate of his mother, said Mary Bracewell, and that since the time of his last report herein, as executor, he did not keep an itemised account of the moneys paid out by him as executor, but that he has expended in improvements of the realty of the said estate, and in payment of taxes and the interest on loans secured by trust deed on the said realty, and in the purchase of personal property, a proportion of which was turned over to his brother, including amounts paid as per vouchers 1,2,3 and 4, the said Edgar H Bracewell, and for all other expenses, the sum of $5078.58 leaving in his hands only the personal property of the said estate, inventoried and appraised at the sum of $1435.50; which the said property belongs to him, this affiant, under the terms of the said will and his purchase of the interests of his said brother, Edgar H Bracewell. That all debts probated and allowed against the said estate have been by him fully paid and discharged.
