Aye, not long to wait now Stanley, autumnal equinox on the 22nd, the weather seems to be shaping up nicely even if it has jumped the gun slightly!

A beautiful morning in Brittany not a cloud in the sky and bright sunshine. Usually cold till about noon then hot in the afternoons. Last night the sky was bright with stars but very cold. Eileen

Same down here Wendy, just a bit of grass frost where it was sheltered. Sunny with a few light showers. Cold night last night and glass is reasonably steady around 29.7". They are talking about wind and rain for the weekend.

Not a bad day yesterday but this morning we have heavy cold rain. Glass fallen slightly to 29.6" and Met Office confirm the forecast for a better day tomorrow in the North but wind and rain coming up the country from the South with a bad day of wind and rain forecast for Sunday so it looks as though Wendy's window of opportunity is tomorrow!

Same here Comrade, a crisp frost with a clear sky. Wendy's window day! Glass is up at 29.8" but the forecast for later tonight and tomorrow is lousy. It will be a good day for staying indoors.

Yes, glorious morning with a touch of frost and no wind at all. A good day for the last window to come out.
