We have 19C for Saturday as well, glorious day today 18C, sky was bright and beautiful, hills view clear as a bell, no need for jackets etc. Beautiful one day, perfect the next.

Dry, cool and calm at the moment. Glass is down at 29.1" Forecast is for an overcast day with a stronger west wind and an expected high of 17C. Small chance of an isolated shower at mid day.

We have had our early morning walk. Dead calm and dry but early on it was overcast and raining gently. There was the occasional spit on the walk, I get the impression that there is rain about. The glass is down again to just below 29" and the forecast is not promising. The wind from the East will strengthen until about 15:00 when it will swing round through the NW, become westerly and strengthen to a stiff breeze. Any time after 10:00 it will start raining and continue for the rest of the day. Expected high of 13C but it will feel cooler as the wind strengthens. A good day for being indoors I think!

It's 8pm and there is a 30mph wind and lashing rain which is making our outdoor temperature sensor read -1C.

Yesterday's forecast spot on, the rain arrived at 10:00. Strong west wind this morning, broken cloud and rain on the wind. Glass is trying to rise, it's back on 29". Forecast is for a good chance of rain all day after 09:00 with a bright spell early evening. Brisk WSW wind all day and an expected high of 16C. Better day but still wet and windy.
07:30 we were back from our walk. Breezy and nasty little rain showers being blown in from the West. Forecast looks about right, 08:20 and it's raining again.

Just back from our walk, broken cloud, light rain and a moderate breeze. Glass is tending to move up, just above 29". Forecast is for a rainy day, a good chance of a shower all day, moderate west wind and an expected high of 15C. Not the most cheerful of days but still growy!

Overcast, cool and light rain out there this morning. Glass is still steady on 29". Forecast is a bit brighter than yesterday but stiff west wind and high of 16C. Outlook is about the same for the rest of the week.

We've had our walk on a clear, cool morning. A light shower in the early hours but generally a clear sky and full moon all night. Glass is up at 20.2" and the forecast is for a bright day with a chance of occasional showers and slightly less wind from the west. Forecast high of 15C.

Enjoy it Cath! We had some really heavy rain yesterday afternoon, hail mixed in with it. I didn't hear any thunder but it felt as though there ought to be some. Glass is almost up to 29.5" this morning, fry and clear outside. Forecast is for a coll bright overcast day with just a chance of a shower. Light west wind and an expected high of 16C. Noticeable that forecast is for temperatures to fall over the next few says.

We've had our walk on a cool overcast morning, spatters of rain and a steady west wind. Much cooler. Glass is up slightly at just over 29". Forecast is for a cool overcast day with the chance of rain increasing after mid day. A brisk west wind and an expected high of only 14C. Almost September weather..... No heating needed since I had a blast earlier in the week but I can foresee a bit being needed later today.

Cool again this morning, high broken cloud, dry but a recent shower in the night. Glass is down at 29.2". Forecast is for a mainly wet day with a brisk west wind and an expected high of only 14C. Feels like autumn!
We got out for our walk at 06:00. A good move I suspect because the wind is rising and the broken cloud is being chased away by dark rain clouds coming in from the west. It will surprise me if it isn't raining shortly....

Nothing like the rain that was forecast yesterday. A bright day with the occasional light shower but they were right about the strong west wind. Clear, cool and bright this morning, much less wind and a pleasant walk but with more than a hint of autumn. Glass is up slightly at just over 29.2". Forecast is for a brihjt, dry, cool day with a NW wind and an expected high of 15C. Forecast is to remain cool all week.

Dry cool and clear. Glass is up slightly at 29.3". Forecast is for a dry overcast but bright day with a moderate west wind. Cool, expected high of 14C. No Indian summer in sight....
[I'm in bed at 22:00 each night and fast asleep so I miss any weather after that....]
08:00. We've had our walk on an a bright autumnal morning with a heavy dew. The foliage on the trees is showing signs of stress and others are loaded with berries.

We were out at 06:00 on our walk on a clear, calm, dry but nippy morning. A heavy dew and our breath was steaming in Valley Gardens, probably a bit more humid down there. The glass has risen and is almost on 29.5". Forecast is for a bright, dry day with a light, mainly west wind but varying a little early in the day. Expected high is 14C.
