Had a few glorious days at the caravan - sitting out on the decking whilst hubby gave the chairs & table their annual varnish. Today it was beautiful all the way down until we reached Whalley and came across the clouds and the cold.
Say only a little but say it well.

At 21:00 last night there was scattered cloud coming in from the East on a light wind but some stars showing. Overcast, almost calm and cold this morning but it must have been clear because there is a heavy dew. The glass is on 29.6". The forecast is almost the same as yesterday, Light E/NE wind, theoretical high of 8C. There is a slightly higher chance of a light shower but minimal. The outlook is for more of the same..... The next full moon is in seven days on the 23rd. It will be interesting to see if the weather pattern changes then.
05:30. Back home after a good walk but much colder than yesterday because of the NE wind. Nevertheless, this and better will do. Enough daylight to see the paths in Valley Gardens.... That cheers me more than the good weather! I hate the dark mornings.....

|At 21:00 last night there was broken cloud scudding over on the cold East wind with the waxing moon popping in and out. More overcast this morning but even so it's light early. Jack and I were back from our walk before 6AM. Cold but dry. The glass is steady on just below 29.6" and tending to fall. The forecast is for a bright, dry day with plenty of sunshine and a very light breeze which starts off in the East and then swings right round the compass via the North until it settles this evening in the NW. The theoretical high at midday is 9C. Another good day, March is going along quite nicely!

Re-run of the recent evenings at 21:00 last night but with a cold NW wind. Feels the same this morning but overcast. Glass is steady this morning on 29.4" back a bit (I made a mistake yesterday, it was 29.6"). The forecast is for a slightly colder day, the constant moderate wind is in the East now and will stay there or NE all day. Theoretical high is 6C but it will always feel less than that. It will be a dry day but will be damp or misty after Noon. Looks like a cold funeral day......

I was right, it was dry but bitterly cold at Bracewell. At 21:00 last night there was a cold East wind and an overcast sky, same this morning. The glass is steady on 29.4". The forecast is a re-run of yesterday. Hardly any chance of rain, overcast all day with a moderate NE wind that will gradually abate during the day. The theoretical high is 6C but for much of the day it will feel as though it is below freezing in the wind chill. There is a solitary brave little Daffodil on the Green, it will have yet another chilly day. We've had our walk, OK if you are properly rugged up. I've seen a lot worse at this time of the year. One very good thing is that the ground is drying up well and if we have a warm spell will be ready to soak the heat up!
