I went out to fit the dashcam in the car, it rained. I came back in and it stopped. Went out to finish the job and it rained again, it's all hard wired in now :good:

Sod's Law Kev.... :biggrin2:
Yesterday we saw none of the thunder and only a couple of very light showers. First thing this morning it is calm and we have light rain. The glass is up on 1010mb and the forecast is for rain until 08:00 and then bright overcast improving to sunny spells as the day goes on. The constant moderate ENE wind gives us a high of 18C a low of 11C and a chill of -2C. The outlook is for similar weather for at least a week.

Just sat for an hour in the Town Square with my friend Janet. Complete change in that I got a bit chilled! Such a change from the last hot spell.

Yesterday was cool and cloudy. The bits of sun we got were welcome but not on the scale of last week. At 20:00 we had a light breeze and heavy overcast, no late sun. This morning it is the same and the glass is steady on 1001mb.
The forecast is cloudy with sunny spells late morning but then heavy cloud and rain this afternoon. The wind starts light and Easterly but then becomes a moderate south westerly giving us a high of 19C a low of 12C and a chill of -2C. The six day outlook is for similar unsettled weather.

I've just got back from spending an hour on the Town Square with Margaret and Mick. While I was there we talked to Laura and Kate, two of my grand daughters in Perth WA, a bit of a bloody miracle when you think about it. I got some of my veggies there because Margaret and Mick could bring me home in the car, it save weight tomorrow when I'm doing the early doors weekly shop.....
Chilly enough to need a jacket and it's clouding over seriously now, could be rain before long.

Yesterday we had a bright but overcast finish to the day. This morning it's calm, dry and overcast. The glass is steady on a shade under 1010mb and the forecast is for significant rain starting about 07:00 and persisting all day, could be showery with sunny spells later this evening. The mainly easterly wind is light and variable and gives us a high of 17C and a low of 14C tonight with negligible wind chill. The outlook for the next week is for bright unsettled weather, perhaps slightly warmer.

I've had my walk and a sit in Town Square with a Scotch Egg to nibble on.... I got another 9 toilet rolls so we're all right in that department! My mother always had an airing cupboard full of toilet rolls even in the darkest days of the war. She taught me well!

We got the rain yesterday afternoon and yes it was significant, not just a shower. At 20:00 it had bated but we still had heavy overcast. This morning it's mild, calm clear and dry. The glass is down a touch on 1008mb. The forecast is for a cloudy dry day. The southerly wind is light and gives us a high of 20C and a low of 16C with only a slight wind chill. The outlook is for similar broken weather for at least a week. I heard yesterday that one of the reasons for our mediocre weather is the lack of a jet stream.
04:20. Just looked outside and we have a thick mist.

The rain arrived yesterday late in the afternoon but by 20:00 had settled down to a calm dry overcast. Very boring. This morning it's calm, dry and we have a light broken overcast. The glass is a shade over 1008mb. The forecast is for a spell of heavy rain starting any time now and lasting until noon, then an overcast spell before rain again from 18:00 onwards. The mainly WSW wind is moderate and gives a high of 18C and a low of 13C with negligible wind chill. The six day outlook is for very similar boring weather!
