And it sounds like it's going to be a pleasant afternoon for it. I'm hoping to get some sunset pics over the reservoir later on.

No need to be sorry Cathy.... I get things wrong far more than you do!
Yesterday was dull but acceptable. At 20:00 it was calm, overcast mild and dry, same this morning. The glass is down a touch on 1026mb. The forecast is for a dry day with bright overcast and the chance of a glimpse of the sun this evening. The wind is a light to moderate westerly that gives a high of 10C and a low of 6C with a -2C wind chill. The outlook is for similar weather but perhaps moving into changeable with showers later in the week.

Yesterday was, once more, a very acceptable day but not exciting until the flash of sun later on. At 20:00 it was calm, mild, overcast and dry, same first thing this morning. I have just had a look, it hasn't changed. The glass is down slightly on 1023mb.The forecast is for a similar day to yesterday but the flashes of sun will come earlier. Same wind as yesterday, a light to moderate westerly giving us 9C as a high and 4C for a low with a wind chill of -3C. The outlook is for brighter showery weather to start on Wednesday.

But the ground is drying Gloria and it all gets us closer to the beginning of June when we know we have wintered!

It's a rerun of yesterday Gloria......
Yesterday was not exciting, I found myself in one 20 second burst of sun when I went for my midday walk. That was the peak of the day. At 20:00 it was calm, coll, overcast but dry. Same first thing this morning and it's not changed. The glass is down a touch on 1019mb. The forecast is for an overcast but dry day. The wind is a constant moderate SW giving a high of 9C and a low of 6C with a -4C chill at peak. The outlook is for more changeable weather, with sunshine and showers but no nasty surprises.

Lovely quality Kev. Hand held or tripod? I used to have cast iron elbows but those days have gone...... :biggrin2:
Yesterday I had two midday walks, both of them dry but that was a sneaky cold south wind! At 20:00 it was calm, dry and cool with an overcast sky. First thing this morning we had a light shower but it seems to be dry now. The glass is down a touch again on 1014mb and falling. The forecast is for the cloud to clear and we will have a sunny day. The constant WSW wind is brisk and gusts to 30mph at times. It gives us a high of 9C and a low of 6C with a -3C wind chill all day. The outlook is similar weather but there may be a wintry shower late Friday night.

Hand held, it's currently a breach of Covid-19 restrictions to be out as an amateur solely for the purpose of taking pictures (the loophole is to take the pictures as part of exercise). Using a tripod would be 'going equipped', a bit of a grey area but if anyone was going to be fined for breaching the regs it would be me :biggrin2:

Beautiful, bright, dry and very sunny morning with more than a hint of spring, there’s a bird in nearly every tree singing it’s head off.
