Only one place I lived got up my nose, Bacup! I have been known to go on about the fact that the more you know about the local history of where you live, the more rooted you are. That's probably why I love Barlick, so many associations in my head. Never a dull moment!

I agree Stanley, that is why I like Rochdale. So much history

We are in a heatwave at the moment... a seaside town on the south coast of Tasmania sound good at the moment. :grin:
I know I'm in my own little world, but it's OK... they know me here. :)

I remember being in the outback beyond Dubbo once and it was over 45C. I noticed about a dozen chooks under a Pepper Tree (Good shade) and a lawn sprinkler was nailed to the tree sending out a fine mist of water over them. There is nothing in this world that looks worse than a wet hen but they preferred it to the heat!

Poor Andy Murray was playing tennis in heat exceeding 40c yesterday.
