Always a good thing Maz. Some people's fridges horrify me!

Mine wouldn’t horrify you. I clear it every day and do an end-of-week clean every Friday. Nothing “lurks” in my fridge!

Steak pudding and mushy peas for breakfast. Small pork pie and peas for tea with a nibble on a bunch of roast chicken wings. I do like a good gnaw!

Pushed the boat out. Made a BBQ Prawn Pizza. Very naughty, but ok as an occasional treat, washed down with a glass of Shiraz.
Feeling quite contented now...

Rest assured...it wasn’t a huge Pizza...about 12 inches across...and we ate half each...thin crust...homemade Veg Sauce...no added salt...

I had a Leggera pizza, at Pizza Express, on Thursday. It has a very thin wholemeal base with a hole in the middle. It comes with salad and a choice of toppings.

Cold (steamed) Chicken Breast with Salads, including Beetroot and a cold (hard boiled) egg.
I bought some lovely fresh mushrooms this morning, so lots of raw mushrooms for me too. D is not so keen, but I make him eat a few slices of mushroom. It is important, as we only eat small amounts of red meat and we both need our Vit B.

I cooked veggies yesterday and had straight veggies for breakfast. Tea was a steak pudding and mashed veggies.
I have finished my antique multi vitamins. I am holding off from buying any new ones while I assess what happens now I have stopped. I rather think I shall get some just as a belt and braces precaution.

Buy some. You need all the help you can get - and you know that is the advice you would give your kids.

Three rashers of bacon on a very small Ciabatta roll for breakfast. Small helping of sausage and mashed veggies for tea with the usual nibbles. A bit more appetite which is welcome.

Tea at the Crown in Colne with Craig to celebrate Colin's birthday. Good food and not expensive, I had baked salmon in a cheesy prawn sauce with a pile of fresh veg, Col had chicken stuffed with Bury black pudding and a salad, Craig had a surf & turf plateful, and the bill, with drinks, was £32.

That was a good deal Wendy. Give Col my best wishes please.
I had my illegal treat of bacon and egg on two small Ciabatta rolls. Tea was a steak pudding with the last of the mashed veggies from last week. I shall be considering fresh fish and veggie shopping this morning.
