I’ve made the filling for FILO parcels tonight....chicken, bacon, spinach and cream cheese with black pepper.
Will make them up closer to tea time. Not sure what to have with them yet ( possibly mash, cauliflower, peas and a cheese sauce).
No doubt I shall be supervised at every step of the cooking by “Abby the Labby” (who is doing marvellously).

Glad she's doing well. You and Dave are obviously good for her.

I steamed my Veg instead...Carrots, spuds, cauliflower and Butternut Pumpkin. Dinner was lovely. Couldn’t eat it all, but that is nothing new nowadays. My appetite is not what it once was...
Something easy tomorrow night I think. Maybe Baked Beans for the Master and tinned Spaghetti for me. We have had loads of Veg this week and a night off won’t hurt. Very little left in the Veg bin this week except a small lump of Cauliflower and one Zucchini! Little waste...( and the dog ate all my Cherry Tomatoes!)

I had two eggs for breakfast and treated myself to a very expensive Co-op pizza for tea because it's butcher's day today and I didn't want to use any meat out of the freezer. This morning the fridge is bare, no waste.

I had no waste either in the end. I cooked remaining veg up with some rice and augmented the dog’s dinner. Another serve left for her tomorrow night. She loves pumpkin, carrot and cauliflower. Also loves Apples, Pears, Tomatoes and Cheese.

Pushing the boat out!
I am steaming a Chicken Breast as I type...not sure what we will have with it yet...probably leave it to cool, slice it, and have Chicken Salad Sandwiches for tea.
( I’m not in the mood for cooking today!)

I've made breakfast and know what I am having for tea (I think) depends on whether I pop to the supermarket and get some veggies.

I saved the roast tomatoes and gravy from the Chinese ribs and yesterday de-fatted the gravy, put it and the tomatoes in a bowl, added a small pork pie cut into chunks and some freshly boiled and mashed carrots, parsnips and cabbage with frozen peas and had that for breakfast. It was lovely. I had the same veggies with a steak pudding for tea.

Beef Curry was quite lovely. Ate almost all of my serve.
The dog had all the Beef Trimmings, cooked up with Pasta and Veg. She was licking her lips and smiling for ages afterward. Hoovered it up like there was no tomorrow...

Breakfast was a small pork pie with mashed veggies. I roasted salt and pepper chicken wings with tomatoes, onions and olive oil and vinegar. For tea I had half with mashed veggies, lovely. The other half is for tea tomorrow.
