You may remember when I cooked the ham hock over a week ago I put the gravy in the fridge. I decided yesterday that it should be used so I soaked a bunch of my antique dried peas for 24 hours and yesterday after washing them made a mess of peas pottage in the slow cooker with the usual condiments. (The archaic language is for David....) It is bloody superb! A meal in itself and will be used to augment whatever else I am cooking.
So breakfast was a burger and an egg with veggies and tea was a meat pie, veggies and pease pudding.

Lovely Maz, you can't beat slow cooking!
The hot weather curbs the appetite. Two eggs for breakfast on two small Scotch Rolls. Tea was a small helping of veggies and pease pudding with a steak pudding on top.

Same as yesterday, finished the veggies off. I still have some pease pudding left but now have pork pies and steak puddings after Carl delivered my meat last night. Treats in store!

Chicken, tomato and pasta from the freezer from a batch I made last week for dinner. I constructed a Lamb Kleftico for tea with a portion of diced lamb that was again batch cooked and frozen. I reckon I have that recipe off pat now, it was bob on.
